Chavez Park dog park

District 1 resident said the 0.6-acre dog park is too small and urged funding a downtown dog park sized for reality.

Homeowner and business owner asked the council to use the full available acre at Chavez Park for the dog park, citing years of advocacy.

Said the proposed space is essentially a dog run with no room for dogs to exercise.
